We are pleased to inform the faithful, pilgrims, and all devotees of Our Lady of Visovac that the third edition of the prayer book for the devotees of Our Lady of Visovac has been published. This prayer book grew out of the long-standing devotion of believers who come to the holy island of Visovac seeking the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, comfort in prayer, and strength for their daily lives.
The new edition contains revised texts, prayers, and devotions that have over the years become part of the spiritual tradition of Visovac. The prayer book aims to help the faithful experience more deeply, both in personal and communal prayer, trust in the intercession of Our Lady of Visovac and to find peace, comfort, and encouragement in her motherly embrace. A special place in the prayer book is given to Marian prayers, invocations, and devotions that accompany pilgrims during their visits to Visovac as well as in their everyday life of faith.
For centuries, the monastery on Visovac has been a place of prayer, silence, and encounter with God. In this same spirit, this new edition of the prayer book has been prepared to help the faithful live their faith more deeply and joyfully, relying on the intercession of Our Lady of Visovac, the protectress of this holy place.
The prayer book is available at the monastery on Visovac and is intended for all pilgrims and devotees who wish to nurture and deepen their Marian devotion.
