National Park Krka Croatia

Current information for visitors to Krka National Park in January 2026.

Krka National Park, one of the most beautiful natural gems of Croatia, continues to attract visitors during the winter months with its peaceful waterfalls, educational trails, and rich cultural heritage. However, due to weather conditions and ongoing works, some temporary changes are currently in effect that are important to know before planning your visit.

Closed road to Roški slap

The county road Bogatić Miljevački – Laškovica is closed due to a landslide, meaning that access to Roški slap by land is currently not possible. This popular location with beautiful cascades and tufa islands is temporarily inaccessible, and visitors are asked to be patient until the situation is resolved. Alternative accesses are not available at this time, so we recommend focusing on other parts of the park, such as Skradinski buk or winter walks along the Krka River.

Hostel Titius closed due to works

The accommodation facility Hostel Titius within the park is closed to guests due to planned works and will reopen on January 22, 2026. If you are planning a longer stay near the park, we recommend alternatives in nearby towns such as Skradin or Šibenik.

Visit to Oziđana Cave

This fascinating archaeological site is accessible only with prior notification. Please contact the park to arrange a time slot and ensure a safe and informative visit.

Electric vehicle charging station

The charging station for electric vehicles at the Lozovac entrance is currently out of service. Visitors arriving in electric vehicles should plan alternative charging options in nearby towns.

Opening hours and ticket prices in the winter period

During January, the park is open from 9:00 to 16:00 (except for possible adjustments due to weather conditions). The winter period is ideal for a quieter experience of nature, and ticket prices are significantly lower: adults pay only €7, children aged 7 to 18 pay €4, while groups and persons with disabilities (with accompaniment) have discounted or free entry. The ticket provides access to main locations such as Skradinski buk and educational trails.

For all additional inquiries or visit notifications, contact the park’s info service at 022/201-741 during opening hours.

A winter visit to Krka offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of the river, the island of Visovac, and the surrounding sacred monuments. More about boat trips to Visovac and winter experiences in the park can be found at www.visovac.hr.
